So an inquiry into a sacking over Muslimness is ordered but not into bullying and blackmailing of MPs ?
Boris will obviously claim that he saw no evidence of either(as he already has over the bullying) though
Par for the course with him
Probably did not realise he was head of the government
In line with his other excuses

Wonder what would have happened if any of those making the latter claims were of that faith or a certain skin tone ?
More double standards from Government ?

Two years down the line, she’s picked her moment. I don’t believe a word of it.
The story well well be true so far as it goes. I presume that the timing is all due to the curent frenzy within the Con party - it's like a cat, a dog and a snake sewn into a sack and thrown into a river.
If her 'muslimness' was a problem, her CV looks pretty good on it.
Utterly ridiculous, two years after the event. She's been got at to help nobble Boris.
Well I doubt that.
Whether the allegations are true or not.
For one thing, plainly this is nothing to do with Johnson, for another:
why order a cheap wine complaint when the cellar's stacked with the finest Chateau de Party ;-)
The Con anti-Johnson campaign has been very good at ensuring that there's a new 'bombshell' almost every day. I wonder what today's will be.
> inquiry into a sacking over Muslimness

The very idea that a whip would use such language, rather than just think it(!), is amazing(and if he did use it then it shows just how contemptuous he is). But it's he said versus she said. As an inquiry, it's going nowhere. She may have chosen her moment but she's clearly decided that she has no future as a Tory MP, for some reason, and is sticking the knife in as her opening move.

Much like the crossing the floor incident last week, this could actually help to shore up support for Boris ...
I cannot help feeling that the chief figure in the anti-Johnson campaign is the PM himself.
He really is the archetypal gift that keeps on giving.
Thought all failed Muslim MPs, of any Party, had an automatic pass to the Lords....

I agree. That old thing about protesting too much ....
Boris is the yesterday PM.... Get rid of him now .
He's well past his sell by date and starting to go off.

Indeed
Baroness Warsi seems to have summed it and him up in the link
It's not like Muslims to make claims of discrimination.
Could it be, possibly, that she was no good at the job?
Why now? (No answer needed, its rhetorical).
