Can't Detach Keyboard On My Surface Pro 4

I have recently been given a Microsoft Surface pro 4 laptop. I have found this to be a really excellent machine.... with one exception..... There is no keyboard detach button on the keyboard or even on the task bar. I have searched the Task manager and as far as I can ascertain there does not appear to have the Surface DTX program installed. This of course would make it impossible for me to detach the keyboard. Can anyone help on how I might rectify this problem.
Many thanks
