Trying To Get My Oh To See The Light

Many many moons ago me and my OH went too Minorca and stopped in a villa. The owners greeted us when we arrived and showed us around. Before they left us to enjoy our stay they said by all means use what energy you need, but when not in use would you please turn off lights, because electric is very expensive here. No problem.

For 2 weeks I endured the OH reminding me to turn this off turn that off.
I remember saying at the time I wish you would practice this when we get home. I'm now getting my own back, guess who's getting crabby now being reminded to switch off. I've told her its easy to remember, if you can see, why put the light on in the first place, makes sense to me :0) Are you doing anything to save energy in the light of higher bills?
