Who Wore A Face Mask Today?

I went shopping without a mask - it was bliss! Why are some people so wedded to their masks that they even wear them in the street?

I did, around my place of work, and just as well, as I started feeling a bit under the weather late morning and took a LFT. It was positive. Had to leave work and go to get a PCR, which I have to say was very efficient. Fingers crossed for day 5 & 6 negatives.

I've found out many times that life can. They are no longer here to brag bite you in the bum when you brag to much. Sadly I've seen many stories over the last 2 years of people bragging they've not had the vaccine, they are no longer here to brag. :0(

I've never worn a mask due to various medical conditions,I will continue to wear my landyard and different exemption cards.

I did, and so did everyone I came across in the cafe we went to, behind the counter and in front, in a shop, in a supermarket and in a farm shop.

On the bus and in my Hospital, its hospital policy, it doesn't bother me.

I did because they are still supposed to be used on the Tube. More people were wearing them than not.

I wear a mask as I don't want to get Covid and I don't want
to infect other people ( I could have got it within the last
lot of hours and not realised)
Think not only of yourself but of others.

I didn’t today as I only took dog for a walk.
Tomorrow I’m off to Costco and will probably wear one there. If any shops ‘recommend’ people continue wearing one in their establishment then I will.
I don’t use buses, and rarely trains, but if required I’ll wear one anywhere, why not??

I wear mine in the street because in the cold weather it keeps my nose warm!

I'd completely forgot that restrictions were lifted. So I wore mine anyway when I went to the local shops. But, I would have anyway. I'll continue to do so in busy, crowded spaces. It doesn't bother me to do so.

The only think that bothers me is my nose starts streaming and continues until I take it off. It's really difficult to deal with a mask and trying to wipe my nose all the time!

Because they’ve had fear and trepidation instilled into them for the last two years. They’ve been conditioned to believe that going out among people is dangerous. Having had that fear instilled in them it will be very difficult to shift it from everybody. The use of facemasks continues to maintain that atmosphere of fear but, paradoxically it makes people feel “safe”.
