Togo, I should have said I actually had the op in Chester. I was told by optician there was a 2 year waiting list for NHS, but speaking to other patients they had been told 3-4 years (same hospital board). I was just legal to drive but may not have been in, say 6 months, then awould life be worth living!

Hopeless are they not Boto. I hate being critical, and have close family who are in the medical profession, but the admin and "management" sectors are only motivated by political and personal aims. Dangerous people.

I was an NHS patient at a private Eye hospital and treated the same as the private folk. Optician said January was quiet so they could sought me out quickly and they did.
