Dog Urinating on furniture

Our dog has started to urinate on furniture in the night, he is two years old and intact, any idea why this might be and how can we stop it

Your dog has now reached maturity and is "marking out his terretory". Make sure he goes out last thing at night and try confining him at night to a room withourt furniture were he has is own bed with comfortable bedding,and for the time being restrict his water intake.
You may have to make the desition to have him castrated to solve this male dominance.
