REM- everybody Hurts Video
Is the video based on an actual fact?
Right at the very end it shows what looks to be a very realistic weather helicopter type of thing reporting on the fact that hundreds of people had left their cars on the motorway (highway then) and walked off.
Did this actually happen? Mr Boo is convinced it didn't, but I'm unsure as the tiny bit of footage looked so real.
Can anyone please put an end to our bickering over it?
Ta very muchly :-)

Put that money back in your purse. The video is based on an old Wim Wenders film called 'Wings of Desire'. Whilst Mr Boo could argue that the events didn't happen in real life, you could counter his argument that it previously 'happened' albeit in a film.
It's a very weak argument, but if the end result is you winning for once, it's worth a go.
