The kids were used to weird goings on in the staffroom anyway, Gness. On one occasion, someone mentioned 'leapfrog' and the new French assistant asked "What is this 'leap frog'?". She then received a mass demonstration, with all the staff playing leapfrog around the staffroom for ages, while the kids outside looked on totally baffled ;-)

[The French assistant looked somewhat baffled by the antics of British teachers too but at least she had her explanation: "Aha! In France we call it leap sheep!]

I was an Anne Summers rep for a while, did some very strange parties, one was for a group of deaf women. One of them translated my latter into sign. It was hilarious. Sad thing was a lot of reps had turned them down ( back in the 1980s)
I also kept a kit in plus sizes which many of the ladies appreciated. The lingerie you perverts... The lingerie. The toys were a separate issue

i went to loads oif tupperware parties when i was a naval wife ,burping the tops lol .also ann summers where an old lady neighbour said she wanted one of the large vibrators, we were all quite shocked until she said it would be good for putting bulbs in her garden lol x

the best tupperware buy was a childrens red and blue shape ball ,both my children loved it then we passed it on to friends for their kiddies x
