In days gone by, I used to dip into the News Section straight away when opening AB. It was by far the best section on here. One person in particular made sure it was lively and interesting - great debates and quite a few disagreements. Others have tried since, but failed and given up, and now it's not even worth dipping into. I am sure there must be others on here that feel the same. Am I right?

the problem is that there are a few trolls that are exempt from the rules that post the same trolling tripe day in day out. I must confess to trying to fight fire with fire sometimes but never getting very far because I am subject to the rules and they are enforced on me. I suggest the ED and mods have some sort of meeting and get some sort of consistency and apply it to...

I haven't had much input here but one thing I will say. Long-time members have learnt from experience that they will receive no response to emails or reports relating to concerns about the way the site is run or to the abysmal standards of moderation.

/Strange. Lots of complaints but no reports in my inbox. If you want content to be assessed then report it to me/
Are there not enough of us that agree with me about the News Section to consider the issue now. I personally gave up reporting non news in the News Section. No action was taken. Please look into it.
You now know that quite a few of us think the same. We are not a group, gang, blues or reds, or moaners/whingers, as has been suggested.

@pat2604 - when were these "days gone by"? I've just gone back 10 years and haven't come across any that I would call "lively and interesting" debates. What did I miss?:
