Useful. I know never slow cook meat or fish from frozen. But really, it's making sure something is properly cooked through.
Same with storage, don't let it get to room temperature and then put in the fridge, cool it down as fast as possible.

We do a Food Hygiene course every year, and they always say rice is the biggest culprit for food poisoning. I think meat, eggs etc are maybe better treated than they used to be... and less likely to cause problems.
Thanks Pasta- as I am now head cook- wife laid up temporarily- this info is very useful.

Richtee, I'm glad it will be useful for you.
Pixie...it's surprising how many do not realise how dangerous improperly stored rice can be. As for raw meat, there are some in the carnivore community who eat raw meat...they are very careful about how they source it.
A good useful guide. Thanks.
