For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.You need to go to www.farmstayuk.co.uk and decide where to go. Average cost is only 25 B & B a night per person and you get to stay in the best locations across the UK, in old manor houses, cosy intimate farms, coastal, inland - whatever you want.
And you help the farm as well as guaranteeing a more than hearty meal option - couldn't plug then enough for all the right reasons. I can't say one location is ever going to be absolutely the best option, but just have a troll through the site and see what you fancy.
If you really insist on an hotel though, do the same with www.hotelconnexions.com site and you'lll get the cheapest available rate (its in their contract to offer this) for min. 2 persons at any of their hotels in the UK.
Have a nice break when it comes.
Hi, if you don't mind travelling and think that Loch Ness might be "water" enough, but there is the sea about 20 miles away, try www.ceilidhtailcottage.co.uk
It has wood burning stove, jacuzzi, sauna and super king size beds, and most of all views!!!
With rolling hills, quaint villages, and plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from, we are sure you will have a lovely time away in the English countryside. There is plenty to do in the area, from hiking and biking to wine tasting and shopping.
There are loads of charming cottages to choose from, we would like to recommend Dereham cottage in Moreton – in – Marsh.
Moreton – in – Marsh sounds ideal for you as it has direct train link from London - Paddington station and Oxford.
Dereham cottage is just five minutes away from the station. With its rustic charm and secluded setting, this cottage is ideal for couples looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, Dereham Cottage provides the perfect backdrop for a quiet getaway.
The Cottage is a three-story house with two bedrooms, a cosy living area, and a well-equipped kitchen. The living area includes two sofas, a TV with a complete Sky TV package, and a big fireplace, making it ideal for chilly late Feb/early March evenings.
