Congrats to Scotland they did well to get the win, we had most of the territory and possession yet failed to get the points on the board. Slightly doubtful penalty try but fair enough I can see the reasoning. I would have gone for the kick for a draw at the end but I understand why they went for the line out. Sadly we messed that up and Scotland closed it out. It's good that they have learned to be clinical and logical when they play the worlds top sides. A few years ago they were losing games like this through naivety. So well done, now go on and get that grand slam.
Lots of rain, of course, but I was in the stand and it wasn't that cold thanks to the crowd. The walk out of the ground to the tram was a different matter!
I was in a little doubt about the penalty try myself, he seemed to be trying to reach it while dodging someone on his neck. I wouldn't have sworn he was trying to knock it into touch. Can't really argue though, I suppose.
Until the last few years it has been a thankless task cheering on Scotland (I'm half Scottish), but it's been great watching the team gradually build and finally succeed. Last year was great, but to win back-to-back at Murrayfield was wonderful. I was worn out by the final whistle! :)
