Do You Ski ?
4 Answers
I've never fancied the idea myself, moving rapidly down hill on a very slippery surface just using the soles of your feet struck me as a bit terrifying.
But I've just been watching skiers in Germany (I think) on a webcam, and I saw one who seemed to be sitting in some kind of chair. It may be a disabled facility of course. I took a screen shot to show the sort of thing it was, but it was quite distant so it's not a very good reproduction.

But I wouldn't mind a try at that. More like a sit-upon toboggan I suppose.
Does anyone know of such skiing "vehicles", and how much control is available, are they easy to "drive", etc.

A few examples here. These seem to be for disabled skiers.
