Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Why Do Posters Not Put The Name Of The Crossword First ?

If you put the name of the crossword first then go down and
put the Clue and letters that you have etc It helps us to help you.
One get the impression that you are afraid to tell us which
crossword it is..
As for local crossword ~ what is that about ? local being where ?

I don't see much wrong with 'local crossword' really. Telling everyone that the clue comes from the business supplement of the Bogshire Bugle and Gazette (incorporating the Mucking Clarion and the Titville Post) probably isn't going to help people very much!

I don't think it matters which or where from, or the number.
Cryptic or straight, and letter pattern, is fine.

Buen, from the one time I asked a crossword question, it was a little misleading, as it asked for crossword etc before posting, so you would expect it to come up.

How does the name of the crossword help us? Just the clue and letter count will do.

When I first joined this site, it did ask you to state
the paper/magazine etc ~ simple as that, and yes
it does help us to help you ~ just think about it.
As for Local - well that could be outer Mongolia and
I honestly don't know the lingo, I live locally !!!
