Good morning, I agree that the clues to Doc’s offering for this week are pretty straightforward, but I am somewhat at sea with the correct placing of the answers. I have the four columns of ten words each. Now, I am wondering if my first set comprising “ angle, aping, drama, model etc” should go in the upper left hand corner of the grid. Help in this regard would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Clues lead to 5-letter solutions. Each set of ten clues is presented in alphabetical order of the solutions. Correct positioning in the grid of each set and the insertion of the appropriate letter in the central square will reveal six 11-letter words not otherwise clued. The 5-letter solutions to the four numbered clues are to be placed where indicated in the grid.
I should have added be careful with this group, There are two possible ways of entering the 10 words. The N-W group has the first across and first down word starting with C.
Sorry to hear you have another struggle on your hands, Matakari. I'm glad you've now got a big bit of 'help in this regard', ie the answer to one of the four placements! You shouldn't be at sea much longer...
