Hi pinkjudy45, I've an investment drawdown pension, Mrs Dag would be awarded the full sum should I push up the daisies, I don't think it would carry on as a pension for her but she would get it's worth at the time. Ask your pension provider to have your husband as a benefactor if he isn't already. It doesn't cost. See what they say.

No, pensions cannot be held in joint names. On retirement you can purchase an annuity in joint names.

Do you actually have a stocks and shares ISA? You can't have a joint ISA either!
If your not drawing it yet it sounds like a personal pension fund that invests in shares and other things. If you pay in and you get the tax relief its yours but when you convert it to a pension /annuity to draw you can do a joint life and there may be an option for a widower's pension if you die first
