I suspect it is feral (and fearless). Locally We had a feral cat that started behaving aggressively towards other cats and doing it’s business in the middle of our lawn (and our neighbours) I tried to shoo it away (with no aggression) and it attacked me viscously by biting and latching onto my leg: I had to go to A & E for tetanus, strapping up and antibiotics.
But I still applaud this cat’s reaction to it’s tormentor :-)
Toorak, my two were feral kittens.
Frankie was a mummy's boy but Merlin was like the cat in the video. If Frankie was annoyed he would strike with a paw (not usually armed) and run off.
Merlin's attacks were more like a dog, she would keep coming back until she thought that she had won. My arm was badly infected one time and needed two loads of antibiotics. She went for the Vet and I got in the way, the lovely Greek Vet had to clean my wounds and bandage me up.
Wolfie - cat bites are so venomous. I need antibiotics if I get a bite to prevent catastrophic infection (excuse the pun). Happily my boy is totally laid back and cuddly :-)
it was a feral cat that she gave food to
the cat then attacked her dog so she tried to chase the cat away
but the cat flew at her
the cat (called buddy) was tested for rabies ( which it did not have ) but the cat was still put down
this happened almost ten years ago btw
The cat was put down?
If it was feral, why not remove it to a farm so it could continue to be feral...possibly with other similar cats...earning it's keep catching rodents.
