Camper Van Enthusiasts ? I am looking to buy a camper van to allow me my dog and I to travel round the UK for the next 5 to 6 summers Do I buy a van that is well used and has a lot of mileage but willl be cheaper to buy even though it may need repairs in the time I have it or shall I buy nearly new x maintain it but enjoy it with a look to selling on eventually ?
Money is not an issue here x funds for either option
Thanks

If money isn't an issue then you buy nearly new.
Assuming money is REALLY not an issue then buy the best new one that is the size, performance and fit-out that you like best.
I guess £40,000+ would buy an OK one but bigger & better will cost more.
A newer model will probably be more fuel efficient and may have cheaper tax. Breakdown insurance should also be cheaper.
Camper van or motorhome?
Do your research so you know how much you should be paying for the one you want

Thanks for your replies
I definitely don’t want a motor home as I will only park at campsites and I don’t want something too big to drive and there’s is 9nly me and the dog
A plan to visit a few traders and have a look round
Cheers !
If you have no experience of camper vans think about hiring a similar model to the one you fancy. Could save you a lot of bother in the long run
