Deathwatch a WW1 horror film.
Probably one of the best things made about WW1 was the TV series Blackadder Goes Forth. By the way They Died With Their Boots On is about the Battle of Little Big Horn in 1876.
All quiet on the wstern front is available on DVD in some larger post office shops at 5.99. I watched it last night, the best film with an anti war message as far as I'm concerened.
Sorry stevie-p, "They died with their boots on" is a film from 1941 with Errol Flynn and is the story of General Custer from the time he enters West Point military academy, through the American Civil War, and finally to his death at Little Big Horn. The battle against Chief Crazy Horse is portrayed as a crooked deal between politicians and a corporation which wants the land Custer gave to the Indians.
