Just like everything else, my boiler insurance has gone up and I'm left to decide whether to cancel or see if I can get a better deal.

I've just renewed my Home care FOUR ( boiler , controls and central heating ,including annual service ) - plus repairs to plumbing , drains and home electrics .
All the above for about £10 less than you paid for home care TWO.
Do you just pay the renewal premium they send you ?

I have Home Emergency cover on my home insurance and that costs under £40 a year. It covers me for up to £500 parts & labour, 265 days a year. It does not affect my no claims discount. It covers boiler breakdowns, leaks, blockages etc. I wouldn't be without it as I had an issue a couple of years ago and fixed pronto
