Not your fav film or your fav actor, but the best scene. This is mine. SPOILER alert, this is the end scene so if you haven't seen the film and intend to at some time, don't watch the clip, which contain some bad language;

A couple spring to mind.

The single shot from Goodfellas, following Ray Liotta from his car, through the kitchens of the club to his tables. Brilliant one-take scene.

The final fight between Rick Deckard and Roy Batty in Blade Runner. Batty completely batters Rick, but feeling his oncoming demise has a change of heart and saves his life before delivering THAT monologue.
the goodfellas scene with the bridge from layla, magnificent!
this one:
for a fight at the end of the movie, Tim Roth and Liam Neeson in Rob Roy must be up there....Tim Roth, apparently, could have fenced for GB, that good was he. Great movie if you haven't seen it, good story line, good acting, scenery shots of Bonnie Scotland and music - far better than Braveheart.

the end of Zulu when they thought they were going to be attacked again but the Zulus saluted them .
from It's a Wonderful Life, when George Bailey, James Stewart realises that he is stuck in the town, after his brother comes home with a wife and that he isn't going to take on the family business, priceless...
It just has to be this - apologies to those of gentler sensitivities
Best for me has to be the scene in Carrie where the hand comes out of the grave. Still makes me jump after all these years and I know it's coming.
Another scene that when seen first time in the Cinema with surround sound made me hold my breath all the way through. David, the Android, activates the Engineer Spaceship Orrery.

Who could forget this. The only time that Travolta was actually cool. Uma Therman was a real minx.

Perhaps my all time favourite film is Cool Hand Luke. I have probably seen all the movies considered greats up untill the last 5 years and most of then at the cinema for the first time. I even enjoyed going on my own. Most of you could pick a scene from "CHL" but this one was another that hushed the auditorium. The escape, poker game, egg eating, and banjo playing scenes are all memorable but this one made us gulp. George Kennedy was also brilliantly cast in this film, as were all the now recognisable faces, that at the time, were not so well known.

the Twist in the Crying Game
Love this.
