What Is The Best Movie Scene You've Watched?
55 Answers
Not your fav film or your fav actor, but the best scene. This is mine. SPOILER alert, this is the end scene so if you haven't seen the film and intend to at some time, don't watch the clip, which contain some bad language;

The single shot from Goodfellas, following Ray Liotta from his car, through the kitchens of the club to his tables. Brilliant one-take scene.
The final fight between Rick Deckard and Roy Batty in Blade Runner. Batty completely batters Rick, but feeling his oncoming demise has a change of heart and saves his life before delivering THAT monologue.

Perhaps my all time favourite film is Cool Hand Luke. I have probably seen all the movies considered greats up untill the last 5 years and most of then at the cinema for the first time. I even enjoyed going on my own. Most of you could pick a scene from "CHL" but this one was another that hushed the auditorium. The escape, poker game, egg eating, and banjo playing scenes are all memorable but this one made us gulp. George Kennedy was also brilliantly cast in this film, as were all the now recognisable faces, that at the time, were not so well known.
