Would I Be A Bad Person For Not Trying To Stop My Boss From Burning A Giant Brush Pile That May Have Animals Living In It?

3 years ago I worked at a plant farm. During the Christmas season I would cut noble fur so they could make wreaths. I was instructed to dump the excess noble fur out in a field. It turned out to he a huge pile. I asked my boss what we are gonna do with it and he said burn it. I mentioned all the critters that must be living in it, and he siad "yeah, but they're critters you don't want". That was 3 years ago, so they could have already burned it, and burned it responsibility, but what if they haven't burned it? Would i be a bad person for not trying to stop him?
