Being semi-nocturnal, 237SJ, I'm often disturbed by the dawn chorus when I'm trying to get to sleep. I've frequently got no idea what type of birds they are. All I know is that they're damned noisy!

I tend to be kept awake by the robin. He sings all night as they do in towns because artificial light confuses them
