I think that they have made a mistake printing this - I can usually rattle these puzzles off quickly but have spent hours on this.
Letters are DEIKLNORR and one word starts on the third letter of the other.
Try by all means, but don't be optimistic

I assumed that you had to have two entirely separate words and not use a letter of one word to start the other.I may be wrong, so maybe the OP can enlighten me.
It does say 'one word starts on the third letter of the other'.
