I nearly broke my tv screen this afternoon when a Chase contestant, the first woman who sat on a chair, came on and went minus 2K. It was not that fact that got me irritated but the way she acted, her stuff you attitude and her stupidity. My shoe hit the wall missing the tv screen by about a foot. Was anyone else *** off with her?

I would rather have knocked her off her seat. No, she didn't *** me off at all. What a mare. I imagine contestants have to sign an agreement to say they will receive an equal share of any money won - I would have taken hers off her. With apologies to Colin and Steve - thank goodness she didn't win.

£500 less for each player and one more head start in the final chase

But yes she was a bit bullish - a bit naa na na naa na :-)
damn savage!
I was majorly ticked off at her. I really despise the people who take a minus offer and are happy to take money off other people's winnings and to take a share in it. I was happily on the side of the Chaser.
did they win ?
Taking a minus offer can be a good choice .

Afterall no money goes into your pocket book unless you win the final chase and the more players you have in the final chase , your chances increases of beating the chaser
Would you rather win a share of a lower amount or win nothing?

they didn't win, game over and all irrelevant - sounds like someone needs anger management therapy ↑↑
Paul is entitled to kick his wall if he so wishes.
he should apply to go on and then, if he is accepted, let us know, and see if he can do any better.
I don't think Paul would take a minus offer but feel his attitude would be much better than hers.
If they had won by only one step, that would have been due to her being there.

taking the lower offer is often the correct thing to do tactically. Though I can understand the annoyance when it is negative.
Let's see what today brings .
Perhaps someone will take the higher offer despite the others saying not to .

Then someone will come on here criticising them to go high when they get caught - lol
One thing that irritates me on The Chase is the way that they often talk about the figure a contestant has accrued as though they will win that amount instead of the quarter or third etc that they would be playing for in the final.
And please can they sack The Beast? I cannot stand his bolshy big headed attitude.
