I've had the van now since last May and even though I keep it topped up the Adblue warning light comes on occasionally. The first time it was still under warranty and the garage had it in for a couple of days and I think they replaced the sensor. It came on again a couple of months ago and even though you should be able to reset the warning light with buttons on the dash I couldn't get it to work. The garage charged me £30 to do it. Now its come on again - getting a bit miffed now. It tells you how far you have got left before it won't start - working down in 50 miles eg now saying I have got 300 miles left. Any advice - waiting for a specialist Citroen garage to get back to me.

The video here shows the technique for resetting the warning after topping up with Adblue. (It's in Polish but it makes perfect sense if you've read the English explanation on the page first):

I must have seen that before because its what I do but even though you get the ten second count down it doesn't make the lights go off. I really need to know if it is just the light or sensor that is faulty, as I know its topped up but I am worried about it getting down to zero miles - I went down as far as 50 miles when the garage took it in the first time.
Davebro your comments are correct - been on to a Citroen Main Dealer who told me to contact Citroen Customer Services, and although it is out of the five year/mileage criteria for replacing the tank etc they have put me on to their Goodwill Gesture scheme, where I can get reimbursed for having a diagnostic check £264 with the main dealer, and then take it from there. Plan is to get the lights reset by my own garage, then get the diagnostic check and depending on the result to either go back to Citroen to see what they can do or get shot of it. Seems they don't want the bad publicity!
