That’s a bit if a fanciful long shot. Perhaps aliens, if they exist, look pretty much like us.

And most likely they wouldnt. Just look at the different species on this planet (including the past) alone where we all share the atmosphere and plantation etc.

There was a sci-fi story (ages ago) where trips from the future were arranged rather like holidays. The people were well-drilled in the period and what happened and they were dressed appropriately, but all had a tiny 'emergency' button on their wrists.
One man went on the Pontius Pilate Experience and was part of the crowd which had to scream for him to pardon Barabbas, not Jesus. He duly played his part in this, saddened and horrified at what he had done - then he noticed that the majority of the crowd carried those buttons.........

Maybe this prof. also read it many years ago. Not a bad storyline - and it could be true, who knows?
