The significance of a leaf garland hanging above a outside door along with a broken coconut, and what appears to be a sprinkling of some sort of spice over the broken coconut. The sprinkling seems to be turmeric, but just guessing. I believe an Indian family live there, or other?

Not sure. Not very up on culture. Did mean to say the coconut is on the floor around the step. Is Ramadan just an India thing?

So am I right in thinking Indian Muslims ken?
The garland looks like it has Indian art / faces on ken.
I know it sounds pretty untrue, but I honestly haven't taken much notice of other cultures.
