Why are police reports about Boris and Partygate findings being delayed until after May 5th local elections .Obviously in favour of Boris and his Con Party.... WHY ? ......Has Boris given the Met Police force a good handout from The Taxpayer funded Con Crony clubs Slush fund.

Investigating politicians (and prosecuting them if necessary) is not “getting involved in politics.” It could be argued that delaying investigations or taking action against specific politicians who would otherwise see action in the normal course of events is getting involved in politics in every bit the same way. The police are supposed to act “without fear or favour, affection or ill will.” This imbroglio is bringing the Metropolitan Police into even more disrepute – and it needs no help in that direction.

We now have Sue Gray’s report delayed until the Met have finished their investigations and those investigations delayed until after May 5th. It is beyond parody. I happen to believe that this should not be a resignation matter for any politicians. But any found to have breached the Covid regulations need censure. They should also be reminded that to casually criminalise ordinary social behaviour in the way they did two years ago should never, ever be considered again. If it achieves that it will be far more valuable than simply changing one lot of shysters and charlatans for another.
