Bbc Quiz : Week 16
48 Answers
I’m posting early this week, as I’ll probably be going out this evening. That means that I won’t be able to quickly respond to all your reported scores, telling you all just how brilliant you are (or otherwise, of course!) tonight. However, as long as I haven’t spent too long in a pub waiting for a train home, I’ll try to catch up with everyone’s posts upon my return later on.
I ‘just scraped by’, with a score of THREE out of seven, in the main quiz this week:

My performance in the junior quiz was ‘middling’, with THREE out of five:

At least I’m consistent this week! THREE again, out of ten this time of course, in the Timed Teaser:

My lot are all fine, thank you. They all followed me dutifully down to the Co-op and back again when I got home ;-)
(I had to go down to buy a pizza. That's because the pizza business on the pub premises, where I ended up after my night out got cancelled, had too long a wait for me to be able to get my train home. So I was really looking forward to a pizza from the place next to our local station when I got back, only to find that they'd just closed when I got there. It's not been my night tonight!).
Hopefully, yes, Elliemay1. However I'm still waiting for the 'postponed' open mic night in Bungay, that I was hoping to perform at three months ago, to be rescheduled. I never seem to have much luck with evenings out!

Good evening, Twix.
Yes, it wasn't the best of evenings for me. Although I was very much looking forward to the actual event itself, it was meeting the organiser that I was particularly keen on too. I was hoping to get involved with a future event that he might be organising (or even, if he'd had a 'no show' tonight, to have got on stage this evening). It's not much fun being a performance poet when you can't find anywhere to perform!
Well done on beating me with your scores anyway!
