Passport Question

Hiya,

i am off on holiday very soon - my current passport runs out 20th Decomber this year. Will i still be able to use it to go on holiday to either ibiza or greece - (classy I know) - for 1 week, or do I need longer left on my passport (ie 3 months or 6 months remaining).

Basically will I need a new passport if I want to go away within the next fortnight?

You won't have any problems. For travel within the EU, your passport can be used right to the end of its nominal validity.

If you weren't going away in the next fortnight it would be worth renewing anyway - fees are about to go up.
But you haven't got time and it's not worth paying the urgent fee.

you should be ok with Ibiza and Greece but remember that some destinations require you tohavea passport withat least 6 months validity left on it.
