My laptop battery charger indicator norrmally shows green when the battery is fully charged and red when it is charging. It has today started alternating between green and flashing red every 2 seconds whether the battery is charged or needs charging. Is this a matter which requires service attention?

Turn off your laptop and leave it for a while. then plug back in the battery charger and see what happens. If it is still not working then yes, it might need service attention
