I know there are RAMEN noodles but I'm not aware of 7 letter word beginning with O and ending with AMEN. (The letter after the O is from 33a an unclued light which begins U and ends in S (I think).
While I'm on here 44a has me stymied too. Part of Iris's role changed in Carmen? (6) A??O??
Any help would be appreciated. I don't usually finish Lavatch's xwords but as I'm quite close to doing so this week, thought I'd ask the experts on here.
