Is it just me who has trouble opening a pack of cream crackers by the method shown on the pack. I have to revert to a sharp knife and cut the pack in half.
Just been and looked at an unopened pack...nice little zig zag to reveal the red tear strip, a bit like a dairylea cheese triangle. (Never noticed it before though.) Thanks for mentioning it, I always slit the top of the pack.
Personally, I find that countless product packs, jars, etc. are so difficult to open these days - ditto for opening biscuit packs as you mention! I have just been wrestling with a packet of pandrops!

Bottles of oil can be tricky - the little plastic tab you have to grab to pull the strip away from the cap is sometimes very hard to grip, or it breaks off.
I have discovered recently that turning blister packs over and gouging with a thumb nail into the thinner foil there can produce less dramatic results.
I can never open cream crackers without breaking most of them! Also the worst thing I have found recently are McCains Quick Chips - trying to get the boxes out of the cellophane wrapper is a nightmare - I would love to challenge the CEO of McCains to open a pack without crushing the box!
