i want to get one of those all over spray tan things. I feel a bit daft 'cus i've no idea what to expect. Does the lady do it or is it like the one in friends - a machine that sprays you? Do i have to undress?

You go into a booth, undress, apply a barrier cream in certain places (palms, sides of feets etc) and then go into another booth and press a button in this booth and it sprays. Then you turn around and it sprays again.
All fine apart from I found the tan stuff began to wash off and stained my hand and toe nails orange making it look like I hadn't washed for ages. Never tried another one though so maybe it was just that particular brand of spray that caused that problem.

itsa bit difficult to get a tan fully clothed!!!!!
there are two types of spray tans... a machine youstand in or one that a woman sprays you.... i personall rate the one that the woman does it.... because she will ensure full cverage, the machines only last 6 seconds! yes Six Seconds.... i didnt rate it at all,.

I would recommend you put nail varnish on before you have a tan either way, do toe nails too, or you end up looking like you smoke tons of cigs with your hands and feet! Having a person do it for you is better as they can take more care around the iffy areas like elbows, knees, ankles etc. and smother your palms with barrier cream and don't be tempted to touch yourself until you've dried properly or you'll look like you have henna tattoos on your palms, lol!
Well, if you're skint like me you'd buy a tin from Boots like i did at the weekend... the first time since I tried fake tan in 1990! I was desperate and tried ambre soliel for 8.99.
The colour was spot on nd it didn't streak. I put it on Sat and its still on now... also, the best thing is that when its wearing off, which it appears to be doing now, it actually looks as though I've been peeling, which looks quite natural.
