Hair Washing Excuse
6 Answers
Did anyone on here give the reason that they were washing their hair for not being able to go somewhere? Or was that just used as an excuse not to go out?

It was accepted that once you had washed your thick long hair (hairdryers not being much of an option) it really did take hours to get it dry again. Most of my friends would sit in front of the fire in an attempt to get it dry, and if we put curlers in, we invariably went to bed in them in damp hair.
No, but right this moment I am fuming because I really, really needed to wash my hair on Mon. 30th (I do it in the morning shower) and OH has booked an optician's appt. for 9.30 10 miles away. This appt. requires drops, so he has to be chauffeured back (me) also the dog has to be walked.
So I'm going to have to have an evening shower- because I have a long drive over unknown roads to get to a funeral on Tuesday and need to set off at 7 - and my daughter is bringing the kids over. Just why don't men think of these things? fume, mutter.....
