sorry, i am returning to work after 5 weeks off with 3 broken toes, the big toe and the next two, the big toe and the 3rd toe have healed properly but the second toe has not and it is going to have to be operated on, it is excruciatingly painful if the slightest thing nudges it. The hospital were able to splint the toes together but thwey could do little else, it is one of the most painful things i have ever experienced and it has been as boreing as hell being hoke for 5 weeks as I work full time. i sympathise, you can take up the torch and hobble with it lol.
oooh i sympathise. put your feet up and have a cuppa and a big bar of chocolate (a well known cheerer-upper) ;o)

i've broken toes twice....so now i where big slippers that act as bumpers!!!

aren't you bupa then ?
Is the laptop OK?

The laptop is undamaged.thanx for asking kempie. Yes I'm in bupa adonia but they dont deal with accidents for that you have to suffer an overcrowded a&e dept on a friday night if I had been as drunk as everyone else the pain would have been inconsequential.
best time to go to A&E is about 6 o'clock in the morning...by then everyone's been seen or got so pi$$ed off with waiting they've gone home!
wouln't have happened in my day, we didn't have laptops when we were kids
Oh, you poor sausage. Isn't it funny how often you use your toes? you only feel that when you've hurt them. Never mind, you still have another 8 good ones.
What is it with everyone and toesfeet recently? There's Dot and her 3, you, Pink Fizz with broken metatarsal and my mate fell and tore the ligamnets in her ankle, went home with leg in plaster and crutches and stumbled and broke the toes on her good foot with the crutch!

I sympathise, I broke my toe dropping my son's Beyblade Arena on it last year and it still twinges now! I recommend putting foot up as much as poss and icepacks to reduce swelling, then wear as sturdy a walking type boot as you can as the foot doesn't bend and the toes stay reasonably imobilised.
