(Its not unlimited food designed to last forever on benefits as some like to think)

well I managed to get 7 out of 11 or 12 that Nailit mentioned so done something good today.

I do mean to do this every month as I used to sponsor a little African girl who no longer needs my money - I have slipped up but will try a little better.

PS. I joined an Ipad class some time ago and done 6 weeks then the class was over.

One day a young lad came to my door and said Jennyjoan - yeah - "here is a food parcel". I went "no you have got it wrong" but he left it-. I picked out the perishable foods then made up the rest with non perishable and left it in a homeless shelter. I then emailed the Ipad team and told them never to send me any thing more and they haven't.

Why should they? If they have two homes they have two energy bills. They also pay Council Tax on their homes in Cornwall on properties that might otherwise attract no tax at all.

look there are other "steamy" ways. I know of 3 people who sold their houses and put the money in an account of one of their children. So their income is low therefore on pension credit and get their accommodation paid for and all the other freebies.

It's all there.

Nothing to do with food banks but knew of a lad who wanted to stay on benefits and was called to the "big doctor" to get him back to employment. Said lad put a balloon down his jeans and pricked it and let the doctor see he was so nervous he wet himself. Doctor gave him the money for a taxi home and was back on benefits. Loads of oul tricks out there and so very unfair.

There are 2 sides to it...while second home owners may use services or provide some work, they are also seen as pricing local people out of the housing market. This in one the the poorer parts of the country. This then drives young people out of the county in search of work and affordable housing.
