I watched Jamie Olivers programme this week one mother was asked why her child had a packed lunch, she said "its rice or pasta every day" there was no answer as the programme cut to something else, but the question remains why no jacket potatoes or boiled potatoes.
One pasta dish they showed looked like a bowl of vomit I would refuse to eat that if it had been served to me.
Many many years ago food didn't contain all the chemicals it does now, only this week tests have shown how healthy foods, tuna, salmon, brown bread, olive oil etc were contaminated, yes they maybe in safe amounts but what is the accumulative effect, what happens if the tuna and olive oil both used in one dish are both contaminated are you still in the safe zone?
Nothing will be done about these chemicals unless the public causes a fuss as too much money is invested in their production. Remove chemicals from food and other products like make-up and cleaning products and health will improve.
