Cleaning A Keyboard

Any tips? The oft used keys look fine, the seldom used need cleaning.
I know of one idiot who used a damp cloth and it broke the lap-top. (ain't doing that again)

Cotton bud or finger in cloth, spray the cleaning stuff onto it then clean the keys

Clean with methylated spirits

I use a damp cloth. Try a wet wipe

I have always used meths even for my keyboard (music). Wipes like a dream - use a cotton bud to get into the nooks and crannies.

I use either furniture polish or cd cleaner

Tuvok. Some old dvds were "jumping" on me. I smeared a little toothpaste on them. Wiped them clean. They never jumped again

I use wet wipes on my work laptop all the time.........its still working.

damp cloth
turn off computer ( to avoid @/L> etc being input)
use cocktail stick or kebab stick with cloth wrapped around it
