After spending an age picking out flowers, entering all details, thinking of a message for the card, entering payment details I receive notification that my card is not acceptable and to try again.....huh!

Interflora does not accept Visa Electron. I am amazed.

Just mentioning it so any other ABers are forewarned that if they have Electron as their only means of payment then they should look elsewhere. I found a place that accepts Electron and is actually cheaper than Interflora. Are these "big names" that picky??

Thanks for the heads up with those two Lorraine. It's so strange that you can go to these shops and they take a Visa Electron as payment, but to try and shop on line they don't want to know. RNID shop won't accept it either.

I have no other choice but to use this card and its horrible spending time making an order then being told your card is eityher incorrect or to enter the digits again!
Hiya flubber

In all fairness to Interflora, their site does tell you which cards they accept (homepage, right at the bottom) and a Visa Electron isn't listed.

True Boo, but sometimes there's only Visa showing for payments and my card is acceptible when i click on that to pay for something. Other times there are specifications like maestro, switch, solo........often I can pay for something just clicking on the Visa sign. Sometimes I see electron so its not always the answer to look at what is listed on some sites.
