Can All Pure Compounds Be Crystallized From Solution?

Could you crystallize gold/aluminium/etc. (Or even mixtures of them!) from mercury? Or can M@C60 be crystallized to give an effectively rigid array of 'metallo' atoms? Does gold/copper displace aluminium from mercury?

On the other hand, endohedral metallofullerenes are a different matter. I suggest you start looking at Gallium doped M@C60 and then cf Lanthanum.
Yes, it is possible to crystallise the said elements from mercury. I'll leave you to work out how.
