Boy #1 has passed his C1 theory test (to drive an ambulance) and already has a job lined up for when he finishes his degree. Girl won a prize from a competition on the back of a cereal box (have to wait ten days to find out what she’s won). Thing 1 (14 years old) has (bizarrely) managed to snag a little job where she gets £10 to draw/enlarge an A4 picture onto A1 paper.

Visiting my elderly friends, after two years of not seeing them.
They have aged but then so have I. We had a lovely afternoon, catching up and drinking tea.
