Guys, any dog lovers reading this may want to stop reading!!!!!!!, seriously........
I live in Tyne & Wear, was about to go to bed, and have just sat down as the northern regional field sales manager to an internet based firm I work for, to go through my teams sales figures for the week, that I need to forward to my boss, showing how my team in the North East have done. The radio was on in the background and asked the public to ring in with their feelings about A huge Northeast (i think) media story, (this week) WHICH WAS a "pet" puppy whom because she didnt have time for it she could not be bothered about any more, so instead of giving the dog to someone who would love it, or at least put it into kennels ran her bath picked up the pup and tried to drown it in scalding hot water, taking away its eyesight, All fur gone, starving to death, SHE STILL COU;LD NOT DO THE RIGHT THING, so gave it to her son to "kill" it, including plying it wiTH DEADLY DRUGS, violence, kickings and more bullying and, starvation, that dog suffered for a week before the son cut the dogs throat and tongue and ears off, leaving it paralysed so frightened and half dead, and guess what this dog was not even a year old. And for some reason this dog mentally ( not physically) fought back and took a week to die, after yet another tempted beating murder and drowning oh and guess wot the son got probation, WOW, and the mam 6 months prison, and how daft of me to understand " She tried her best Good news though for this evil, evil act she got 6 months jail.. GIVE ME HALF AN HOUR ALONE WITH HER AND SHE WILL KNOW EVERY PART OF THE PAIN SHE PUT HER LOYAL COMPANNION THRU , Look on the news page for the North east, ie, Sunderland, newcastle upon tyne, middlesbrough.

The frightening this is that people like her are allowed to have children. If she can be this cruel to a helpless animal how was she treating her children when they were younger.
It was not as if it was a spur-of-the-moment lash out at an animal, it was premeditated. She makes me sick.

The lesson is that if you do these unspeakable things to a defenceless creature, you get less than you would if you nicked the stuff to feed it.
I'd be interested to know which animal charity she took the dog to and was turned away by, because if it's the usual one (and I'll mention no names), isn't it about time someone had a good long look at their operational procedures?
I have visions of someone taking a child to social services and saying, "I don't want it", and being told, "We can't help. You'll have to find someone else to deal with it."

Hiya
Reading stories like this literally make me see red with rage. Words cant describe how vile I think people who do this kind of thing are.
I'm not naturally a violent person, however I'd have no qualms about inflicting damage to these individuals. The punishment' metered out, as far as I'm concerned, do not fit the crime.
