Just watched an old episode where his wife Jean was telling him how he is still only 60. I had to re-watch it as I was sure I’d misheard!! I was convinced he was mid 70’s!!

I think that it's possible to become a 'Victor Meldrew' at almost any age. When I worked on the railways, one of the team who worked under me would frequently moan about "young people today", citing their lack of style and musical tastes, together with what he saw as their general outlook on life. How old was this guy? 19!
