Oh what a beautiful day :0)
We’ve waited a while for blue skies and sunshine up here, always grey cloud hanging to the NE coast but not today, time to change those red curtains and cushion covers to silver & white voiles, OH will finally paint the new spindles on the decking as they’ll dry, for some reason I was thinking of Sqad last night, I know he’s not been well of late, hope you’re feeling better Sqad, enjoy the sunshine folks .

it certainly is a beautiful morning Bobbi. Not a cloud in the sky at the moment, though our forecast is for 28c with partial cloud.

Here, hang about, I was in Blaydon last week and could hardly breathe in the almost unheard of in Scotland 22deg C.

Don't be coming on here with tales of woe about constant grey skies and freezing. :-)

Another hot and sunny day here. All watering done : poly tunnel; veg plot; flowering pots round the house and pots on neighbour's patio; washing out. Now to hide in the coolest place I can find. Already got sun burn on face and neck from the other day. Always use loads of cream but still get burnt.

Hope you enjoy your sunshine. Roll on dusk.

Hi LJ, my task is to hose the decking which is about 22 x 12 feet to get rid of the debris such as twigs etc ,to change curtains to light ones and generally enjoy al fresco ‘pottering’
Lovely sunshine and cool breeze just north of Porto but rain expected later and if it's anything like yesterday thunder and lightening as well. The kids had to do the jumping part of their horse riding test between the thunder yesterday
No decking here only paving slabs. Canopy up but already too hot for me. I'm not exactly a sun worshipper as you might have guessed. Quite a dew last night but not enough for the veg plants and not enough to get the grass growing for sheep and cows according to my next door.
