Well I would think your nearest hospital A & E
But if it's anything like mine be prepared for a very long wait
You could phone out of hours GP and ask for advice? Let us know that you're ok
probably redhelen and elliemay;s advice would be best
there arent many medications that wouldnt wait 12 hrs till the chemist opens
If you go to the hospital, surely it's better to go straight to their pharmacy rather than clog up A&E who are always busy. Or am I talking nonsense ?
To be fair, jj has not called the medication a prescription but rather a product, so hospital/A&E may not be appropriate.

What ever the item is I hope she is ok until she can collect it tomorrow.
You ask what we would do, JJ?
So, so lucky in the back of beyond. We all have the number of the pharmacists because pharmacists are treated differently here and one would open up for you....well probably collect and deliver to you but that might cost you a pint in the pub later. ;-)
a+e do not usually have all night pharmacies (in england anyway)
an out of hours prescription is no good - JJ says all the pharmacies are closed, so you couldnt get it filled.
Wait until the pharmacy opens in the morning and then get it first thing.

bednobs is correct @21.49
the only medication i can immediately think of that probably wouldnt wait till the morning is oxygen
Maybe GTN but if you had uncontrolled chest pain, youd go to a+e anyway

thanks all - as I said it was medication - I was doing that much to-ing and fro-ing today in our local mall and knee was killing me so wasn't thinking that straight

I'll get it in my local pharmacy tomorrow.
Hope you can get some sleep and rest your knee, jj.

thanks Choux - I think I am going to go for an x-ray - it has been like this for quite a while and won't go away. This was the leg I was shot in and lately have been having numerous problems with it. Maybe I;m looking a claim since I only got £200 at the time LOL

Believe it or not pain goes mad when I am in bed.

Knowing how long I'll wait I am going to go private if it doesn't heal later. It's actually making me irritable. but the medication tomorrow does take the edge of it.
I well know that pain can increase at night, jj and it is damn aggravating too. Take care.
Hope you got sorted out today jenny and are feeling a bit better x
