I believe many would and many would not. However nothing like the numbers who rushed to enlist in our grandfather's day. These days serving soldiers can make claims against MoD for injuries sustained, hearing loss, PTSD, bullying and all sorts and they do. The army just couldn't function like it did back then, possibly just as well.
