Don't Know Whether This Should Be In Jokes

But yesterday on my way into Lidl a gentleman (beggar but not begging) was swaddled in an old blanket.
On my way out I gave him some money and he took the money but underneath the blanket he was stuffing like a dry bit of bread into his mouth.
(He was foreign) When I saw the dried bread I said to him "drink" - oh yes he nodded - I proceeded to open the top of a bottle of milk I had bought - he said "no no no". Oh said to myself - maybe he doesn't like milk - so opened a big bottle of orange - then he chased me off.
I do think it was DRINK of the alcohol kind and no I had none of that in my bag - sorry Mr Beggarman. - LOL. says myself - you cheeky so and so - no I took it with a pinch of salt. Bless him.
