I paint a lot of customers houses in Farrow and Ball colours. If there's a Johnstones decorators merchants nearby, you can get it in F and B colours at a third of the price.
Mine is a very deep teal blue/green. Not to most peoples taste but I find it both cosy and relaxing. Previously it was sage green. Duck egg is also a good colour.
I'm classically boring and go for magnolia - although it's often called things like antique lace, vanillas in the mist, country cream etc etc
Basically a warm cream colour :-)
I prefer to have the colour pops via duvets and curtains etc
mine's a member of the magnolia family too, but it's not as if anyone ever sees it aside from the five minutes or so between waking up and getting up..
